WORLD CAT HOME > THE RIDE > HOW IT'S BUILT
At World Cat, we use only materials that deliver the greatest strength, workability and value. And when we put them in our boats, they're everywhere - we're not just doing it for show. We want our boats to outperform all others in their class. From full 316 hardware to 21st century composites, we only use materials that meet out World Class standards.

Nothing performs as smoothly or as safely as a World Cat - because few boats on the water are built like ours. We've achieved this World Class standard by employing the finest people, materials and best manufacturing processes. In the assembly area all tanks, plumbing systems and wiring harnesses are installed into the hull. The liner is poly-bonded to the hull to form the inner deck and sides. A high-grade, below-the-waterline quality adhesive is applied to the deck cap, then bonded to the top of the hull sides and liner at the gunnel. The rub rail is added and the whole assembly is attached with stainless steel fasteners ensure efficient load spreading. These are some of the crucial elements of a strong, reliable boat. It requires many small, important steps in a workable process. Workability allows our craftsmen to put the materials exactly where the engineers call for them. This requires an attention to detail. Sure we could cut corners, but then it wouldn't be a World Cat.
